Well-Being Retreat For Writers
We at The Metanoia Retreat celebrate our ever changing interior landscapes and our relationship to the Earth. Metanoia is the journey of changing one's mind, heart, self or way of life. Based in part on Neruda's poem, Keeping Quiet, the participants in this retreat will find community, awareness and healing, and find ways to elevate their writing, tapping into something beyond intelligence, a cosmic creative mind, please get in touch through our booking form and find out how we can work together.

Call for Submissions: Between January 1st and February 15th, apply to the Metanoia Retreat by
sending original works, published or unpublished, 3 pages of poetry or 1-2 pages of prose to [email protected]
If selected you will be invited to read your poem and participate in The Metanoia Retreat, a social
impact experience for writers on beautiful Amelia Island, May 22,23,24.*
We are looking for daring work that is innovative, striking, and emotive in its narrative and ideas, and
for work that is loosely inspired by the following themes: Whales, Climate, Metanoia, Nature, Ocean,
Beach.
Please use 12 point standard font and Include a brief bio, 50 words or less. Deadline is February 15,
2020 for submissions.
*Maximum participants is 20; invitations to register will be first come first serve. The non-refundable
tuition fee is $299.00, if paid before 2/29/2020, $249.00. Kombucha & Cakes on Friday, Lunch and
Dinner included on Saturday, Lodging and Transportation is the responsibility of the participant.
